Fred Newman Breaks Free-throw Basket Record on Japanese TV

Last night on Japanese TV, a show was aired in which 71-year-old American Fred “Free-Throw” Newman came to Japan and broke the world record for successful free-throw shots in one hour. Here’s a clip of some highlights.Fred averaged about 27 successful shots per minute, shattering the previous record of 1415 with a total of 1663 successes.
