Popeye 1937: Popeye Meets Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves. The classic Arabian adventure, adapted for Popeye and Olive Oyl.This is another of the three, long Popeye cartoons from the 1930's.This has more than the usual number of crazy comments by the characters and strange transformations by Olive Oyl. This is what made the Popeye cartoons more popular than Mickey Mouse back when they were both competing for playtime at the theaters.
